Earnings falling short would be a problem for any company, no? Apple is well known throughout most countries, so not sure that holds up. People are price sensitive and there are lots of options, but the fact apple has not prepared for the demand on their largest launch is crazy.

Apple's last short fall on earnings were somewhat expected. However, the expectations and estimates wthat the analysts put on apple are most of the times unrealistic and always at the higher end of the spectrum. Their history has proven when it comes to product launches, they know how to manage expectations and product distribution.

Apple will do just fine, but it's all the bs noise spun by the media and alike that just are disconnected.
