Ah now I see the video. Well, isn't pack ice supposed to be flushed out of the Arctic sea regularly? If not, it would build up and form some permanent miles deep ice age type ice pack.

Summer pack ice in the arctic sea isn't important. We know the arctic sea has had little summer ice in the past because we know of subs that have surfaced at the north pole decades ago.
