M Chen Doug is always busy so perhaps I can answer for him... He recommended to me "Secrets of profitting in Bull and Bear Markets" by Stan Weinstien...This is an excellent beginners TA book. Frankly, I'm now re-reading it to be sure of some points. It's easy to understand. Before long you will start to see things that just looked like up and down lines before. Not quite as fancy as what Doug, Myron, Ray (welcome Ray!) and others have spoken about, but will definitly give you some solid basics. Regards Ken W
