The market has been volatile that's for sure and I'm trading the volatilty and I see the volatility increasing and not decreasing but at least it looks like we now have a market with increased volatility that is trending higher which will help bail one out if one screws up the trade.... or if one has the stomach to suffer through the drawdowns (I don't) just hang on and ride the trend... I've been pretty diligent lately selling into any major spikes and buying back on any major dips and will continue to do so. Seasonally we are entering a period of weakness so a time to be extra careful imo... but first it sure looks like POG wants to take a run at 1800.... who knows ??? In any event I'm not counting on any move straight up and wouldn't surprise me in the least to see another wicked correction in the metals sometime in October before heading higher again it's been the nature of this market so why change now...

Don Vialoux..... A word of caution. Historically, the month of October has been the weakest month of the year for gold equities and related ETFs. theglobeandmail.com
