DRBES, thanks for finding the 2nd half of the '97 analyst's presentation on the AMD web site: amd.com Two things I noticed: 1. The 0.25 um "plain vanilla" K6-266 is definitely supposed to be out this quarter so those spotty reviews we're seeing of K6-266 machines will probably be sales by Christmas. 2. The lowest speed K6-3D is 300 MHz, its die size of 81 sq. mm is exactly half the die size of the K6. "1H 98" is pretty vague -- I don't think AMD wants Intel to know when it will really be out. Petz
