frank-- basically companies that are making complete systems. of course, the makers are good as well, but i can understand a systems company better than a pure play manufacturer. the company i found an article on was elan in taiwan. i haven't been able to find a listing for them in taiwan so i dont even know if they are public yet. they are working with a few companies to develop ID systems. i think they are basing it on fingerprints. good luck to all, trey
