Kenneth, the Missouri Faith Voices group was in Springfield, Missouri, recently registering voters to put pressure on our State Legislators for passage of laws against the tremendous interest that individuals who are caught by the Pay Day Loan Business. During the process, the opposition were out intimidating our efforts to register individuals and even broke the windows getting into our cars stealing completed forms.

The power brokers will do anything to prevent bring the PayDay Loan issue to a public vote.

Today, I attended the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) in St. Louis, appointed by a President's Executive Order. Of those present and expressing their views, were Bankers and others who had been trapped by the predatory practices of the Pay Day Loan at no fault of their own.
