No. The governments (not "we") own too much. You tried to get more for government anyway, and you got arrested. (Probably because of what you did, not the ideas you hold, but whether it was that you did something wrong, or whether you did something totally within your rights that just happened to piss off some cop, perhaps for no good reason, I have no idea. Cops throwing their weight around without justification is unfortunately something else the country also has too much of.)
