We all need to remember that Nancy Pelosi had as much to do with the success of the last 4 years as Obama. Too bad she had to lose the leadship. She was probably the most effective of all three, Obama, Reid and Pelosi. She lost because we were not paying attention to the plight of the house we put them in. That did not happen by accident, or in a vacuum. The 2010 debacle had specific reasons, reasons we did not see at the time because we would not look at what was going on right in front of our eyes, or discuss the problems we were seeing. The minorities and women will probably save the dems going forward, but the 2010 gerrymandering really hurt us.
