No one other than Countrywide guy has been punished. No one. Wasn't he given an overseas gov't post? Some punishment that is....... THE real problem is the debasement of the spirit of the law. Wall Street lawyers know it is impossible to legislate against their financial creativity. With convictions based upon the spirit of the law effectively out of the way, we now have a laissez faire financial system.
