I'm a natural skeptic and do a lot of questioning. When I see something as controversial as the line I highlighted, I see red flags. I knew Obama rejected the bill in the Illinois Senate, but hadn't listened to the exchange with his colleagues on the floor during the debate. Despite his claims during the '08 election, we're all used to not knowing where this guy stands on most anything because of his lack of transparency.

And I know what it's like to work with curious people. My youngest son devourers the articles I send him and tries to share them with his friends. It's gotten to the point that if one of them is that interested, they request that they be included in my email list. There are 4 so far (+ some of my own friends) on that list and hopefully it will grow.

I am doing my best to teach our children that there are two sides to every issue and we are all better off knowing what is happening nationally as well as Internationally. They are extremely curious about history (I don't think they got nearly enough of that in school) and all seem to appreciate my forwarding information.

And it's good to hear that even some of us old timers are willing to open our minds and listen and learn.

Thanks for clarifying the source of your info..................I'd like to read the original piece.

Which one was it?
