I guess it is important but it seems to me that this is more or less
saying that "we have the product ready now and it's good". I think
single chip solutions have been shipping in volume since about July
from other companies.( correct me if i'm wrong, please )
The SEEQ chip is a higher performance/feature rich alternative.
My understanding is that the phy's are an important staple in the
SEEQ lineup and it can't hurt having a superior product come out
albeit a little late.
