<..You said Dagaz had a complete ADSL solution so I'm not conceding any strength to them but to Cisco's ability to insinuate itself into GTE..>
No, I simply referenced them as another player whose products received some lauds and who had locked in some impressive Asian contracts (with dollars). I never addressed the post to you, simply put it on the "table" here for reference and consideration. You went out of your way to trivialize them as inconsequential.
Then when CSCO bought them shortly thereafter, I referenced that CSCO apparently was impressed enough with them to consider them a player, and that perhaps the new entity should be considered. Again, you trivialized even considering them (CSCO/DAGAZ) as ADSL players.
<..As for posting, there's a lot I don't share b/c I've been asked not to...>
Well, you certainly haven't had qualms sharing OTHER things publically you were asked not to, but even so, I don't remember your even acknowledging concern, or even respect, in this space, for CSCO as a competitive ADSL threat. And definitely not any hint of your being "sick" about, or even AWARE of, a CSCO/GTE relationship.
We did however receive the continuing and overwhelming influence of your substantial AMTX optimism, but not ANY of your apparent concern. Does this seem balanced (or did/do you feel any NEED to be)?
