There's nothing more pointless than trying to ascribe philosphies, maxims, proverbs & right living to messiahs or prophets like mohammed or jesus when all was said many more times & far far better by the Greek philosphers , then trying to ascribe all this to this God or the other . Those philosophies were embedded and the Middle East drenched in that Greek wisdom since the time of Alexander , the pupil of Aristotle who conquered all the known world at the time . Where do you think Mohammed or a Jesus got all those insights from . (it wasnt from any God or angels )
The favorite book of Wen JaiBao current premier of China is Meditations from the Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius, which even in its brevity has as much or more moral insight than the entire Koran put together . In fact if one reads the Koran the best moral characterizations Mohammed makes could have been taken word for word from that book . Or the Golden Verses of Pythagoras which contain in only 71 verses more wisdom than Jesus' entire the Sermon on the Mount and that was written or spoken 500yrs before by some of the greatest minds of human history ...and 1100yrs before Mohammed .
The most basic element of the human necessity is the health & strength of family unit , there are too many dead beat dads on earth that we need one more up in imaginary heaven and people making fusses about whether some dead beat God exists or doesnt . Chinese do very well without "God" in recognizing what are the essential elements of life and often point this out to "believers" , why their God would so favor Atheists today with worlds greatest power status as they argue back & forth with each other . Abraham this, Mohammed that , Jesus this & Moses that .
China has its own legacy that goes as far back as Abraham , all one can assume now is that God sure has been favoring the atheists lately and looks to continue to do so , or its just a made up story which of course it is . |
