I am watching some of the game but missed Ruf's homer. He looks to hold a lot of promise for this team. I don't know why Manuel pitched Halladay again. The season was over and it didn't matter anymore. I like our prospects for next year too. Our much maligned pitching staff has really come on in the second half. Since the All-Star break, we're 4th in the majors in pitching with an era of 3.41 behind Tampa Bay (with an incredible era of 2.63!), Atlanta and Cincy. Tonight is a "minor league on parade" night as there is nothing to lose on either side. I don't know if we'll finish over .500, but I hope we do. Oohh....as I'm writing this, Ruf just hit his second dinger of the night. See ya, Jerry
