Hi Skeeter Bug; Re: "It's also relevant to the integrity of you and the people waving arms about this study as well."

A couple of posts ago you were pointing out a logical fallacy in my pointing out that the authors of the latest study had had all their previous studies ruled silly. Now you're using the same argument to argue against Monsanto's people.

Sorry, what's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.

What we say here really doesn't matter much. I believe that the proposition will pass and will result in the public becoming more accepting of GMO foods than it ever was before.

If you think that putting GMO labels on food will stop 18-year-olds from eating junk food you probably think that labels on cigarettes reduced cigarette consumption. Nope. What reduced cigarette consumption was rules that you couldn't smoke in convenient places plus extremely high taxes.

Instead of reducing GMOs, you're going to see every new generation raised on GMO junk food. They'll never see food the way their parents did.

The vast majority of the country can't afford hoity-toity organic food. Labeling GMO will simply force them to acknowledge what it is they are eating. It certainly isn't going to force them to pay 50 or 100% more for their food. People ignore left-wing health scares for the simple reason that the lefties eventually get around to concluding that everything will kill you.
