I need an answer I'll jump in here and take a stab at one. After all of these years it really never ceases to amaze me when people assert a "right" to unilaterally determine how they can conduct themselves on others' property.
You have no "contractual rights" to post on this or any other thread. It's a privilege granted by the website, not a right. 8. TERMINATION 8.1. You agree that Silicon Investor may, in its sole discretion, terminate or suspend your access to all or part of the Service for any reason, including, without limitation, breach of the Terms of Use or any subsequent modifications, or attempted assignment of your account by you. Any suspected fraudulent, abusive or illegal activity may be grounds for termination of your membership account and may be referred to appropriate law enforcement authorities. Silicon Investor shall not be liable to you or any third party for the termination of Service or any claims related to the termination of Service. Now, I don't know what part, if any, you have in the underlying matter. 8.2. Should you object to any terms and conditions of these Terms of Use or any subsequent changes to the terms and conditions or become dissatisfied with the Service in any way, your only recourse is to immediately: (1) discontinue use of the Service; (2) terminate Service membership; and (3) notify Silicon Investor of termination by sending an e-mail to: silicon.admin@gmail.com. Continued use of the Service is an acceptance of the Terms of Use and all or any subsequent changes. FWIW. Dave |
