Romney's campaign signifies the confusion in the American society. The confusion that stems from mixing up religion, economic and social issues. To some social issues are uppermost. How can it be uppermost when economic issues are not taken into consideration. Religion needs to be very private. It is not for discussion and display in public. Similar to one's sex life. Again, religion in general calls for renunciation which manifests itself by way of compulsory donation to charity in religions such as Islam and Mormonism and maybe some others. Whereas, economic approach in a capitalist system promotes possession and going aggressively after possessing wealth. And then after acquiring a company, being brutal in making profits by laying off people and donating 10% of the profits to religious charities, you still come out way ahead since you get to keep 90% of the profits. Religious charities are brutal in that they let people die from hunger if those poor folks do not convert to their religion. I have seen this happen right in front of me. But here we applaud religious charities!!!!
