Reagan and Tip O'Neil fought every step of the way and eventually these 2 men compromised and created policy. Everything Obama has done was done with the support of the congressional Democratic leadership; Pelosi and Reid. Obama does not compromise is liberal principles with Republicans. Obama did make the Bush Tax cuts for the Rich is own policy...with the support of Ried and Pelosi. With 59 Democratic senators, the Democrats didn't even threaten a fillibuster. Obama has the complete support of all the house and senate Democrats. My use of the word lazy was to contrast a hard working liberal Jimmy Cater with the lazy and ineffective Obama. Obama doesn't attend key meetings and would prefer to be playing hoops or golf. Or hanging out with celebrities. Carter was an engineer and a nerd and didn't allow himself to be distracted by celebrity. Once again. Obama is an ineffective liberal incapable of leadership. Nothing racist about it.
