There's a reason why the economy didn't do as well under JFK at 70% as it did under Ike at 90%, too.
It isn't due to the 90% rates, that's for sure.

You still haven't shown me one piece of evidence proving that any significant tax revenue came from that 90% tax bracket.

If it's about "leveling the playing field" more than about maximizing tax revenue, know that tax policy has proven to be ineffective in reducing the gap between rich and poor. I maintain that the exact opposite happens, at least when it comes to income taxes.
