Ted, I happened to be tuned in when Sununu said it "live" and Andrea Mitchell was visibly angry. And asked him if he really meant that(paraphrase) and the guy stuck by it with the usual stubborn arrogance(and ignorance) that has dominated his career.

The words he and Gingrich used today........lazy, slow, stupid, basketball, ESPN etc.......are all racist code words. Its remarkable to be that they feel they can say those things in a country with as diverse a population as this one.

And yeah, the Mitchell reaction was amazing.......involuntary, visceral...............how dare they talk about the POTUS in that manner.
