Mr. Jones,
In a previous posting to Mr. Brasington you wrote: "Since COC is such an important consideration in all our Company communications efforts, I would recommend including some kind of blurb about it as a boilerplate at the bottom of every news release. Your scrawl is a good start."
We have listened to you rant sufficiently long to understand your continuously critical position regarding the contents and wording of Naxos' news releases. However you provide no guidelines with your cant.
I am here to offer an opportunity clearly to demonstrate, for all of us contributors and lurkers alike, your long sought after objective; a well written, informative, accurate and up-beat news release.
May I suggest that you attempt, yourself, to "scrawl" out a news release, for all of us here on the thread, as a shining example of your personal desires. Why don't you take your pick of a previous news release found at naxosresource.com and re-write it as you see fit? I am sure Mr. Brasington, if your writing is really good, would put your work on our web page. You will have the clear advantage of hindsight which should encourage the use of more enthusiastic language and catchy catch-phrases.
I am sure that your carefully crafted example of "fine news release writing" will stimulate the highest responses in the current pack of language lawyers and force them into quick compliance with your wishes.
That will be a relief to us all.
