I know you love your Social Security, but here's what the CBO says about it ( cbo.gov ) :
For people born in the 1940s or later who have household earnings in the second quintile or above, the present value of taxes will be, on average, more than the present value of scheduled benefits.
Translated, you get less than you put in, if you were born in 1940 or later. This is typical of socialist programs. They are always built with unsustainable theories, instead of workable mathematics.
