>NASA came to Thrustmaster to create a control device that operates the arm of the space shuttle," said Jeremy Bishop, director of International sales. "It's the only piece of anything that has the NASA insignia on it."
>ThrustMaster: NASCAR Pro racing wheel a massive hit
>"The NASCAR Pro rocks," said Rod White, assistant editor and co-founder of PC Multimedia & Entertainment magazine, an on-line publication. "It's probably the best wheel you can get and probably as close as you can get to driving." The publication praised the padded steering wheel, sturdy design and new brake and gas pedals.
>Joseph Becker, hardware manager as CompUSA in Jantzen Beach, said ThrustMaster is a much-asked-for name brand at his store, where the NASCAR Pro is prominently displayed at the main entrance. "Parents have been coming in asking for it," he said. "Kids have it on their wish lists." He said the store sells at least 10 to 20 units of the NASCAR Pro each week. It also sells the Millennium and Rage.
>The NASCAR Pro, which sells outside of the United States as the Formula 1 Racing Wheel, is ThrustMaster's latest wheel offering..."We can't keep up with production of this one," Jeremy Bishop, Director of International Sales said. "It's a phenomenon that nobody could have predicted." The NASCAR Pro has sold more than 20,000 units internationally since August. "We have yet to catch up with the production of that product." he said. |
