We all love the zingers, but for my money, I just can't really imagine how Romney could have done better. He came across as the matter-of-fact, highly competent CEO addressing the shareholders, explaining what a mess his predecessor has made, and how he is going to straighten it out. Respectful, yet direct. I've honestly not seen a better debate performance by any candidate I can remember.
