Steve: I told you so long long ago on this thread that ACER has done some studies and came to the conclusion that even with the selling price of $500, the box makers can still make a reasonable profit, and IDC finally realize that!!!! The idea of $500 PC was invented by ACER, and was in the Taiwan's PC market for a long time , and it is nothing new at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
