If they're to the right, they've moved out of state - to Oregon, Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico - almost all of them. I'd like to move too to get away from all of what's going on here, but I really resent that I'm being pushed out and there's nobody left to help fight against what's happening to this lovely place. You and I are living the same nightmare in California. I love where I live, but would leave in a NY minute if I could manage to take all of my family with me. I won't leave them, so for the time being, I just enjoy what's left of our quality of life here.
BTW: Have you noticed that as these "conservative" Californians have moved to Oregon, Nevada, etc., that those states have been moving left, left, left! It's been happening in Oregon for decades, and now, Oregon is more liberal than CA in many ways. |
