Why did this, the most intelligent man ever to hold the presidency, world-class orator, purveyor of flowery rhetoric, why did he fail? Add 'best ever war strategic' and replace 'presidency' by 'reichkanzler'... no, let's not go there. But that Austrian really looked quite good until say 1936 or so.
