It is not that simple. First the sales peolpe don't expect many people to purchase the unit. Maybe 100-150. So there wont be too many communities where a dentist with a laser is an option. Second-
other issues need to be corrected. The unit is too large for offices where space costs 100-200 a foot. Third we still need fda approval, 4th - what about approval for children( a problem for PLSIA). 5th-It still costs 39K a tough obstacle but I guess with financing some of us will hop on board. Also note that DDS are conservative by nature. We don't jump into things head first. We need to see it on the market for a year or so, get all the kinks worked out and then look out. That's when we buy. And buy we will. It's a great product.
