I've pointed out before what Californians are subjected to through the way the news is delivered here: On TV the top of the news is usually the weather, then the traffic, unless there's been a high speed chase or accident with fatalities - then those lead. Then it's what some celebrity is doing, followed by Obama bouncing down the stairs of Air Force One, where ever he is that day. Then a new gaffe by Romney or Ryan, and if nothing new is available, they'll being up an old one or make it up. Then whatever Jerry Brown is promoting or deploring, followed by Boxer and Feinstein being concerned and calling for an investigation - the subject doesn't matter.

As for the print news - nobody reads newspapers here anymore. They get their news from either local TV or whatever HuffPo is presenting on AOL, or Yahoo and/or Google. They get that from iPhones or iPads and scan the headlines - They don't have time to read the actual articles.

So it's sound bites and electronic headlines. That's how informed the voters are here. Oh, and let's not forget the totally left/progressive makeup of all the schools. Most people who live here are brainwashed with a constant barrage of crap. It's small wonder why they're so ignorant/stupid.

Just as a small example: The three top stories on the news at 2:00 this afternoon are: how some guy died after participating in a cockroach eating contest; a hit and run T-bone accident that killed a 13 YO; and the weather.
