I would agree, except I would prefer to see your statement qualified: the truth is probably, or possibly, somewhere in the middle. But we'll never know unless one of the plaintiffs or defendants gives us all the facts and details, and they're probably prohibited from giving *any*.

I took the point of view of defining "win" as being whether Bordynuik and JBI got what they were after in court, which was a judgement against the defendants for defamation. I did this, in part, to counter the unchallenged claim that "JBI wins defamation suit!!!", and also because we can't know anything beyond what was shown in the leaked court document posted by "Rawnoc". If there were out-of-court settlements beyond what was in the leaked document (and we don't know if there were), they wouldn't necessarily be favorable for the plaintiffs. For example, it's not impossible that Bordynuik and JBI found themselves with a weak case and unsympathetic judge, with the defendants in a strong position to counter-sue.
