I had one of these a few years ago. Very convenient - -no temporary. I had to go back & have a sharp edge removed but no complaints otherwise. The dentist, knowing I was a computer guy, had me come into the room where the machine was and watch it for a minute. Looked very similar operationally to a "waterjet" except I think the work piece moved and the jet was stationary. My recollection is that this great technology didn't save me a nickel ;)
