No recommendations here on any gold stocks but understand why one would want to own gold. Will look @ the one you mentioned even though you are not sold on it. First majestic (silver play) was recommended by my buddy years ago when it was much lower and it even had a different symbol from what I remember might be an alternative play to gold on a sizable pull back. I use to own it but sold out quick because it went up too much to quick and I did not get a chance to revisit. From what I remember it is a well-run company with pretty good assets. Never really came across any well run gold companies that I felt comfortable putting big money in, so I have no ideas to pass along.. I tried playing gold a few years ago and was never really excited on anything I bought maybe I will try and give it another shot. I know the C&S team one is very bullish on gold while the other is bullish on farmland. Noticed Seth Klarman owns NG and ANV, Paulson (not my favorite money manager) owns ABX, AU,GFI and IAG. George Soros owns the SPDR Gold Trust. Nothing you don’t already know but that is what comes to mind.The market is starting to go my way hope it was not a head fake. I really been underperforming the last few weeks but today I kicked butt.
