Good Morning Paul: After hearing about the success Margaret's husband had with Cod Liver Oil, I decided to give it a try. I must admit I have been feeling great since I started this.

I am familiar with GLA, DHA and EPA and most of what you mentioned as well as od'ing on Vit A, but in the Cod Liver Oil emulsion that I am taking the amount of A does not appear to be excessive. I did not know about the platelet aggregation and bleeding. As someone who takes aspirin almost daily and 800 iu of Vit E, you certainly got my attention.

About one year ago I met a 50 year old who had had a heart attack six years previously and he appeared to have made a spectacular recovery to the point I would never have known this had he not told me. He explained that he has taken 1000 iu Vit E and Aspirin every day since so I began the same routine.

I also take Selenium with the E as I heard that it enhances its assimilation.

In light of your comments, what are your views on this? In view of the chart Sunflower oil by be better than Canola or Olive - What do you think. What are your views on Co-enzyme Q10 for the heart, in light of recent very positive publicity and also Alpha Lipoic Acid.

Any thoughts on Magnesium. I saw something on one thread about a deficiency causing heart attacks.

Thanks in Advance
