1) You can slash taxes by 20% and make it revenue neutral by closing deductions - Of course. Yes I believe that. Romney said the top people would not pay less as a group!

2) Wages on the middle income have stagnated - yes, I agree with you. But the taxes for the middle income as a group has gone down. Now almost half of wage earners pay no taxes. Since I have already said in number 1 that this group will pay the same - then obviously they can bring in the same amount of money WITHOUT raising taxes on the middle income group. BUT this group should also be subject to removing endless deductions to make the tax code look less like a trip to Reno and more like an effort to balance our budget.

3) I would cut our military spending in half - so stop suggesting I agree with this part of Romneys plan. I've said this a hundred times - I shouldn't have to keep saying it.

4) NO! We need to look at SS and Medicare too. They need to be addressed. We wouldn't have to address SS - but Obama in one of the stupidest things he has done to date cut revenue going into SS and thus has blended it with other government programs. THIS is the issue you guys should be wringing your collective hands over!
