<<<<Unfortunately you cannot square your nonsense assertion that there is enough in primarily middle class deductions to not add to the deficit>>>>>>

I did not say that! If I hinted at in in any way - let me correct the thinking.

Everything is adding to the deficit! Everything is contributing because everyone has their hand out and no one wants to pay their fair share. So instead of paying our fair share we get more back in benefits than we pay in and borrow the difference from China. In my opinion it is the most bone headed economic policy of the biggest economy in the world. Stupid is an understatement.

Should the middle class help get back to a balanced budget? Of course! Should the middle class be the one to balance the budget - of course NOT. Since we are parties to the growth of the deficit we should all be a party in getting it fixed. Look - I don't care if the middle class pays more in taxes or not just as I don't care whether entitlements are adjusted or not. What I do care about is that we start to work towards a solution and those of you who think it can all be done on the backs of the very rich are just nuts. Because? Because as soon as you do that people move away from your ideas in droves and we end up where we are right now. Dead locked.

Should the rich be taxed more? Absolutely! But besides being taxed more there needs to be a sense of fairness to the code. One way to do that is correct for the misuse of deductions. So make this out as a class struggle if you want - but then you darn well better be prepared to accept what the jury of voters has to say.
