You know employees of big Pharma. But you are not one. Hence you do not have first hand experience on how big Pharma folks think once they get to their place of work. They don't think like a capitalist does in that " if our drug kills a person, then we are in danger of losing our market" as your point was. Instead we folks always think that the drug we make is for our own family members.

And whoever told you that Obama care is for those who cannot afford it. We have that today and the other day I heard Romney say during an interview that we take care of such people when they go to emergency. Well that is an ass backward way of healthcare where those who can afford it take care of those who can't by way of increased premiums. It is simple "Arithmetic". 10 patients can't afford healthcare. They land up in emergency. So healthcare costs go up. Hospitals and doctors raise their fees as a result. It results in insurance rates going up for all. Consequently, 2 folks who could afford the premiums before cannot afford the higher rates now and so we now have 12 and not 10 who do not have insurance. And the snowball continues. And Obamacare is going to fix that by not only ensuring that those 10 folks can get low cost premiums to begin with. They will get from exchanges who will provide insurance companies some competition. It is about time they get some competition.

And yes race has very thing to do with the discussion. Nobody talked about munchers before Obama came to office. Now suddenly, those middles aged white folks call themselves Tea Party and say these programs bother them from the day Obama took office. The food stamp President eh? You think American people are assholes? They know what is being said. Those timid loonies have no guts to come out and say that openly.
