Seems to me to be some misinformation is being propagated on this
thread.

*Nowhere* in the release I read does it say LG is pulling out of the
memory market. It says they are planning to increase sales of
non-memory chip products.

There was a longer version on Dow Jones yesterday. Again, it
does *not* say they are leaving the memory market,
it says they intend to grow sales in other markets.
There is a difference.

So this is no news for Micron, potentially bad for the ASIC, DSP,
PLD firms -- and Intel.
