For the DRAM/SRAM testers, the equipment will primarily be sitting in assembly factories (largely in SE Asia due to the cheaper labor). Some will also be present in the Fab.

Advantest also makes logic and signal test equipment, and compete heavily with the US companies, TER, CMOS and LTXX. Again, these machines will be primarily located in assembly factories, with smaller amounts at the Fab.
