Can you support this?
Tech companies are so stingy. Simple solution to raise dividend to keep stock price supported and reward stockholders. Management would rather have a fat bankroll generating little return.
Most of the $ is overseas where they would have to pay a 35% toll to Uncle Sam and in Apple's case, about 10% to Kalifornia's Jerry Brown... to bring the money back to the US to buy stock or pay a dividend....

So they use it to pay for capital investment overseas that they get back with lowered costs for products. All legal and all creates jobs overseas rather than in the US due to our silly idea we should tax corporations rather than people who make money working for or getting paid dividends by corporations.... insane. I've been making this argument since high school to the silly liberal teachers even as I was a registered democrat who supported Jerry Brown's run for the presidency.....
