Art - You're right. Frankly, what this indicates for the markets scares me. Last Wedesday IBM went over the Upper-Boundary at the point permitted by a Stifled BULL set (page 5-17 in your guide). Everything else is taking stifled bear-sets and this stock goes in the opposite direction!

What confuses me is that the DOW chart is being followed quite nicely. Even today. The DOW does NOT support a run away bull, so something is wrong with this picture somewhere unless IBM can go straight up while the DOW doesn't.

I want to study this turn of events further. Although Inpathique permits IBM to take such a path, it certainly is not normal, and frankly I do not want to believe it. The consequences would lead to a 40 to 50% correction. As a result, I temporarily have no position in IBM.
