Always the pattern for these religious fanatics , always the suffocation of women ? It was no different for early Christianity too, same pattern until the Enlightment & Rennaissance allowed the classical wisdom to take hold again . For today Turkey is really the template & best hope for that firm institution of secular parlimentary rule with women's participation in gov't . Most citizens of Islam secretly wished they were Turkey & admire them who are totally effective in preventing that kind of virulent fundamentalism from ever taking over . Pakistan that we've been aiding also acts as a haven for the Taliban but was directly aiding & supporting them with 1000's of regular Pakistani army units in the early fighting back before 9/11 . Pakistan also supported AlQuaeda too.. Think we'll see a backlash against Pakistan & aid to those insidous fckers soon enough , maybe if Mitt gets elected or with Obama , it was the biggest mistake ever letting Pakistan get nukes , we should have invaded them with India to prevent that but heads were up asses as usual looking the other way and worrying about Russia. Trouble is once they get armed with nukes then you have to buy them off & be blackmailed , why IRAN needs to be squashed now .
