There will be comparisons to GHW Bush looking at his watch and Gore sighing. In the final analysis, the debate won't move the needle one way or the other. People tuned in to see Biden make a gaffe and got a lot of teeth. The comedians will have a field day with that. You can bank on SNL using it. The total take away from the debate will be reduced down to its lowest - Biden's laughing and derision. That's all anyone will talk about. And I think it was part of the plan. Make fun of the kid. Laugh at him. Show how inexperienced he is by condescending. Pass him off as an amateur in comparison to the elder statesman.
