Institutional Interest... I noticed a 10% decrease in the institutional holdings of Novell stock as quantified by WSJ Briefing Book. This figure picked up by just about as much during the last two reporting periods. Are Institutions just waiting for an earnings surprise play in Novell? If they believe that is possible, as I do, I wish they would leave their cash in place in the interim. Unfortunately, they have to report quarterly numbers and holdings. This probably scared them back on the fence until the next report. Just thinking out loud. Where is Eric S hanging these days? We could use some good old fashioned unemotional perspective here.
