Here are a couple of photos from my room in Pretoria (Actually, Irene, just outside of Pretoria).

The photos are separated by about 20 minutes. The storm clouds came from 180 degrees behind the direction of the photo. So while it looks like a beautiful day in the first photo, the clouds were quite ominous looking the other direction. There was a lot of thunder and lightning to accompany the rain and the lightning was hitting very close.
