Well then, there is the big paradox you have hit on. CREAF jumped on 56kflex, now jumping on Voodoo2, so why no big retail push on PCI? How big of an inventory of ISA card will they have to dump, when the transition finally occurs? Let's face it, if it weren't for AMD and Cyrix, CREAF's sound card business would not be as lucrative.
Since Intel is obviously looking to bypass sound cards all together, then what would be the impact if AMD and Cyrix are making the same end around play? Whoops time to put a buy order in.
