I checked with Rambi and it's Rambi for Romney. Like many people, who were for Obama last time, with tingling legs and stuff, half a decade later, they are starting to think that wasn't totally a fantastic idea. They also are keen to get the first Mexican Mormon president. That's about as cool as a half-pie Kenyan-American whose ancestors were not part of the slave class. Hillary is hoping to be the first woman president. If she does it, they will have been Chief Occupants of The White House for 16 of the previous 32 years.
Then the 21st century would be off to a great start with melanin, Mexican, Mormon and matron all ticked off. That would be really cool. They don't have to have policies and stuff. They can leave that to Congress. It does seem strange to me that gender is treated as something desirable when two people with good quality gender so obviously don't agree right here in the Rambi zone. I'm not clear just what it is that excellent gender would bring to the presidency, but then, I couldn't see why having good quality melanin was such a fantastic advantage. It certainly helps avoid skin cancer on the golf course, which is a presidential habit, but the importance given to it by so many people suggests it had some other function. I didn't think presidential golf was so important to the electorate.
While Barack is a decent chap in many respects, we have to get on with the others getting their turn too.
