You are right I am not at my prime-just over the hill!!!! <gg> Guess wisdom goes with age. My learning and experiences began at the Saul Alinski's Institute, Industrial Areas Foundation in Chicago in the mid seventies. It was an excellent training ground for organizing, especially on the Chicago Southside. We were trained as trainers as well as community organizers, political campaign management, power structure analysis of communities, how to motivate and manage others having issues which affects them individually and the community. Then, we went out and trained others and ran actions. The community organizing learning best prepared me for dealing with the World as it is, my future education and experiences.

Yes, approximately 34 years ago is a long time ago. However, the skills gained have helped me to assist my city, and neighborhood in annexation campaigns and local issues, managing, and teaching undergraduates and graduates in the private and public sector.
Most generally physical violence works against you. It takes self-control to learn restraint, get in the other persons head (psychological warfare), and cause the opposition to overreact placing you in a position of POWER over the enemy.
