I would think that if we are to get an XRL update soon, that this week might be a likely time with the SEMI Technology Symposium (STS) '97 happening from December 3-5 and the Equities Winter Conference this week as well.

Also, November 24 was the deadline for proposals for the next batch of DARPA Advanced Lithography funding, so decisions may be made soon for that.
