Paul, you're going to burn yourself out still being an installer
having to rush around jumping hoops for those people. I thought
you were working with equipment that was already online and
need high level routing changes. I appologize... I'm in a
4th tier group that you guys usually have to escallate to
after you omit something and cry that it doesn't work. :o)

I would suggest wearing sneakers with all that running around
that you have to do. :o)

Paul, Excuse me? You say Intranets do not have OOB modems?
Trying to impress the ASND crowd with bogus information is
not helping your low techness.

Cisco should be ashamed to give out CCIE's to the clueless.
Shame on you for pretending to know Intranets. I now can
see you that you have no clue.

Sorry everyone, I appologize for being off togic but I hate
to see anyone get mislead that are not in the know and
then they might make a bad decision based on what someone was
BSing about on a tread. Intranets do have out of band modems.
This access can be a small Ascend TS unit if it is a backbone
site or they can be stand-alone models with password control
for end user sites. There are also OEMS that specialize in
this part of the RA field called BayTech units which can be
used to access more then one component at a BB site using just
one OOB analog line.

Many companies have Intranets and avoid the Internet like the
plague. This doesn't mean that they do not have Internet access
but that they have firewalls with Internet Gateways. These
companies need RAS and RAC's too. They have the cash for them and
are being used globally NOW!!!
